Objectives for the fourth six weeks are as follows:
In Math--- For this six week grading period, we will be working on creating bar graphs, line graphs, pictographs, and learning about units of measure including grams, kilograms, and measuring liquid volume. Please make sure your child is practicing their multiplication facts each night to ensure fluency.
In Reading-- Students are continuing to work on their Read To Achieve portfolios and working on objectives such as character traits, story theme and continuing with vocabulary. Please make sure your child is reading each night for at least 30 minutes. They are able to go to the library each morning until 8:45 to exchange their books.
In Science--- Students for this six weeks, students are learning about the human body. Students have learned about the 17 major bones in the body, skins function as an organ and the three layers, and we will be learning about the immune system, muscles, and organ systems. Make sure you're asking your children what they're learning about!
